Whenever I’m out with a group of friends for dinner and desserts, I find myself ending the night in a cafe with a plate of ice cream and waffles. If you’re like me, Sueno is a great dessert cafe to visit as they serve up affordable waffles with more than 10 gelato flavours. You can get there by foot from Choa Chu Kang MRT Station—it should take you about 12 minutes or so.

For the waffles, you can choose between Original and Red Velvet ($3.90). Top it with either a single ($4.20) or double scoop ($7.80) of their gelato which comes in 12 different flavours.Â

Some popular flavours include Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, Blueberry Yoghurt, and Cotton Candy Bubble Gum. If you enjoy their gelato, you can buy back a pint for $15! Do note that a pint of any premium gelato flavour costs $17 instead. We encourage you to check with the staff about the type of gelato you’re getting before placing your order.

There’s also the Waffle Set ($11.80) for a full dessert experience. Each set comes with a waffle topped with a gelato of your choice, and either coffee or tea. You can top up $1 to opt for an ade, or $1.50 for a frappe instead.

If gelato and waffles aren’t exactly your jam, give their Acai ($9.90) a shot. Each bowl comes with a smooth acai base, banana, blueberry, strawberry, and granola. You can pay an additional $1 for a drizzle of Biscoff sauce!
