Sum Dim Sum Bedok has $55 dim sum and cocktail buffet
We loved Sum Dim Sum‘s original Jalan Besar restaurant when we first reviewed them in 2020. Since then, the popular dim sum chain has opened two more outlets: Punggol, and most recently, Bedok.
Their latest Bedok branch quietly opened in late January 2023. To celebrate the grand launch, they’re now throwing a big party in the form of a one-day-only dim sum and cocktail buffet, priced from just $55 per person!
SDS Dimsum & Dance is a ticketed event that’s slated to happen on 13 May 2023, from 6pm till late. Jio a friend to share the 2-Pax Ticket ($110), which includes free-flow selected dim sum and cocktails. If you’re going alone, the ticket costs $59 instead.
While the full food menu is yet to be released, a brand representative has revealed that the selected dim sum items will be “easy to eat”. We’re hoping the list includes Sum Dim Sum’s Signature Pandan Crispy Pork Bun, which typically goes for $6.60++ for three pieces.
The ever-popular Golden Liu Sha Bao ($5++)Â is a crowd favourite too; these fluffy steamed buns are loaded with a molten salted egg custard filling.
Fingers crossed that their silky smooth BBQ Pork Rice Roll ($5.40++)Â will also make an appearance on the buffet menu!
The celebratory event will feature a lineup of music performances too, alongside specially designed merch that you can purchase on the day of.
Sum Dim Sum is located in HometeamNS Bedok, a 10-minute walk from Bedok North MRT Station on the blue line.
