SuuKee Coffee has orh nee toast in One-north 

SuuKee Coffee is conveniently located in the basement of One-north MRT Station, making it the perfect pitstop for breakfast before work if your office is in the area. They serve hearty local fare ranging from toasts to curry chicken rice and recently, they launched a new orh nee series that got us super excited! 

The latest series offers a fun twist on our local breakfast with the inclusion of sweet yam paste. Orh nee enthusiasts can expect four new toasts: OG Orh Nee ($3.50), Orh Nee Coconut Flakes ($3.80), Orh Nee Pork Floss ($4.20), and Orh Nee Butter ($3.80). 

The OG Orh Nee stars two pieces of toasted bread slathered with sweet yam paste. The spread is reminiscent of kaya in terms of consistency, but is earthier flavour-wise. You can also pay an additional $0.20 to add crushed peanuts to your toast for an extra crunch. 

I can’t have my kaya toast without a slab of butter, so I had to try the Orh Nee Butter toast to see how it fared. The butter overpowered the yam spread so we recommend going for the OG version to taste the orh nee in all its glory.

Just like the regular toast sets, you can top up $3.20 for a choice of hot drink and two soft-boiled eggs. There are also two new orh nee-infused drinks in the lineup: the Orh Nee Boba Kopi and Orh Nee Boba Teh, priced at $5.70 each. 

These concoctions come smeared with a generous amount of orh nee paste inside the cup, making the drinks extra creamy and gao. You get to choose between Popping Boba Taro and Red Bean for toppings.
