Ramadan is right around the corner, and you might be planning to visit the Ramadan bazaars with your loved ones. These food festivals are good enough for a fun dinner out, but if you’d like to try something different without having to join a snaking long queue at the fairs, check out the halal buffet at Taiwan Culture. From 1 to 31 March 2025, you can feast to your heart’s content with over 30 free-flow dishes at this Taiwanese restaurant.

The buffet costs $55.90++ per adult and $29.90++ for any kid between five and 11 years old. Some free-flow items to expect include Beef Brisket La Mian, Chicken Xiao Long Bao, and Steamed Dumplings in Spicy Chilli Oil. Considering how a robust, comforting bowl of their Beef Brisket La Mian is priced at $16.90++ a la carte, the buffet is relatively good value for money as you get unlimited servings.

On our visit last year, we found the beef broth rich and flavourful. Unfortunately, the noodles were a tad too doughy, though the tender beef chunks made up for it.

Besides the signature beef noodles, another must-try is the Prawn Omelette Rice, featuring a bed of rice topped with juicy prawns and a blanket of creamy omelette. If you like punchier flavours, indulge in unlimited Dry Mala La Mian with Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken instead.

You can also look forward to several appetisers with the likes of kimchi and edamame; then, round off your meal with bottomless Sparkling Lychee, the perfect quencher to wash down all the heavy flavours. There’s also free-flow Häagen-Dazs ice cream to end your buffet experience on a sweet note!

FYI, there are two buffet timeslots: 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and 8:30pm to 10:30pm. We encourage you to make a reservation in advance to avoid a wasted trip.
