New Tsui Wah outlet in Jem

West-siders will be pleased to know that Tsui Wah has opened a third outlet at Jem! For the uninitiated, Tsui Wah is an iconic cha chaan teng that hails from Hong Kong, best known for their condensed milk buns. This new outlet at the Jurong East mall will be located where fashion boutique Stradivarius used to be.
This news comes at the right time for Tsui Wah fans who are looking to dine elsewhere from their Clarke Quay flagship, as the chain’s second outlet at The Heeren remains closed due to leasing matters. What’s more, it adds to the list of new dining places for West-side foodies, alongside A&W’s opening at Jurong Point and Pasar Malam Corner near JCube.
To prepare you for the new opening, here are some of our picks from the menu. For savouries, Tsui Wah’s Lamb Chop Curry With Steamed Rice ($29++) is highly recommended, with Australian lamb racks steeped in thick curry sauce. If rice is not your preferred carb, you can top up $2++ for bread to mop up the curry. Otherwise, their Beef Brisket Curry With Steamed Rice ($15++) and Kagoshima-Style Braised Pork Cartilage With Tossed Instant Noodles ($10.50++) also make great options.
You can’t say you’ve been to Tsui Wah without having their Crispy Bun With Condensed Milk ($4++), which sees freshly baked buns slathered in butter and condensed milk. We recommend pairing this sweet treat with their Hot Milk Tea ($3.50++). Check out our Tsui Wah review before you head down.
