1. Bee’s Knees
Nestled in the Botanic Gardens, Bee’s Knees is a cosy cafe surrounded by lush greenery. This Valentine’s Day, Bee’s Knees has a three-course menu priced at $98 per couple, with dishes like Oriental Duck Breast Salad, Red Wine Braised Beef Cheek and more to choose from. Apart from the dishes, you can get couple cocktails for an additional $25, which grants you two drinks: a gin and pineapple, lemon, and rose concoction, as well as a tequila and citrus tipple. At just $49 per person, this works out to quite a steal, especially when you factor in Bee’s Knees’ romantic ambience.

2. Cuba LibreÂ

Priced from $45++ per person for a four-course menu, the value at Cuba Libre is hard to beat. The courses all have a Latin American blueprint, with dishes like Seafood Bisque and Ossobuco with Red Wine Reduction to look forward to.Â
There are also vegetarian options for plant-based diners, starring an Impossible Baked Meatloaf and Chef’s Kale Salad. The meal rounds off on a sweet note, with your choice of dessert. You can also add on a bottle of Sara’s New Zealand Rosé for just $55++. The Valentine’s Day menu will be available at Cuba Libre’s Frasers Tower outlet from 12 to 14 February, for dinner only. 3. ShabestanÂ

Transport yourself to Iran with Shabestan’s Valentine’s Day menu. Priced at $88++ per person, the meal comprises four courses, with your choice of main being either a kebab platter or grilled seafood on rice. Guests are also entitled to a complimentary cocktail, made with fruit juices and Prosecco. Shabestan also overlooks the Robertson Quay area, so you can expect a waterfront view as you dine. The Valentine’s Day menu runs from 12 February to 14 February.

Instead of dinner, treat your lover to high tea at 2:am dessertbar, run by acclaimed local pastry chef, Janice Wong. Available only on 14 February, the Hearts & Roses High Tea set is priced at $45++ per person, and can be booked for two sessions: 1:30pm, or 3:45pm. 5. PortaÂ

Porta, located at Park Hotel Clarke Quay, has a four-course Valentine’s Day menu for just $64++ per person. This wallet-friendly meal stars Western classics like Angus Ribeye with Pomme Mousseline and Purple Potato Soup—easy crowd-pleasers if you’re taking a new squeeze out on a Valentine’s date. Another high tea option worth considering is Goodwood Park Hotel’s English Afternoon Tea Affair ($68++ per person). Hosted at the hotel’s L’Espresso restaurant, the set includes finger sandwiches, pastries, and desserts, along with your choice of coffee or tea. Exclusively on 14 February, the hotel will be offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or a mocktail to diners too.

7. Ce La ViÂ

If you prefer to dine over lunch instead, then visit Ce La Vi for their special three-course menu, available only on 14 February. Choose from dishes like Iberico Pork Loin, Beetroot Cured Salmon & Caviar, as well as get a complimentary cocktail with your set. Do note, however, that the $68++ price tag increases with your choice of mains. Apart from the pork loin, opting for Rice Flake Crusted Lobster Tail will cost an additional $10++, while the Westholme Wagyu Beef Tenderloin will set you back an extra $15++. 8. For The PeopleÂ
Couples that enjoy a more laidback cafe setting rather than atas restaurants can look to For The People as a V Day dining option. Their #ForTheLoveOfValentines menu costs $98++ per couple, with four courses and a glass of either prosecco, white wine, red wine, or craft beer. Dishes are Italian, so expect the likes of Frutti de Mare and Chicken Parmigiana to pop up amongst your choices. Do reserve on the For The People website to nab the price above, as walk-in guests will be charged $118++ per couple instead.
