Burnt Cones opens new outlet in National University of Singapore

Burnt Cones - ice cream cafe in the west

Since it opened in 2020 at Clementi, Burnt Cones has become one of the most well-known dessert cafes in the area. This success has led to them opening other outlets, the newest of which recently opened at the National University of Singapore (NUS). This is surely great news for NUS students who have a sweet tooth!

Burnt Cones - gelato in the west

Burnt Cones is known for their exciting range of Gelato (from $5), which includes flavours such as Black Sesame, Nutella, Mango Passion, and Purple Yam. Crowd favourites, including 85% Dark Choc and Bronte Pistachio, are available here as well.

You can get these gelato in handmade cones of three types: light, medium, or dark cones. These come in varying degrees of “burnt-ness”, with the dark cone having the crispiest texture and smokiest flavour of the three.

Burnt Cones - buttermilk waffles

If you prefer having your ice cream with waffles, you’ll be pleased to know that Burnt Cones provides that very option. Your choice of gelato can be enhanced with the crispy and fluffy Ugly Buttermilk Waffle ($7), and should you want to add fruits to the equation too, go for the Ugly Buttermilk Waffle with Seasonal Fruits ($17).

Burnt Cones - sourdough toast and coffee

Have these sweet treats with a fragrant cup of coffee. Options here include your classic Espresso ($3), Cappuccino (from $5), and Mocha (from $6), as well as specialty drinks such as Caramel Latte (from $6) and Hazelnut Latte (from $6).
