If you thought the name sounds familiar, that’s because the stall is run by Lok Me Up, a popular lok lok stall in Toa Payoh. They’re known for their house-made mentaiko sauce, which is also available for free at this mookata joint in Marsiling!

As compared to when it was first launched last year, Thai Me Up now offers more free-flow items: a whole mookata-style buffet at $19.80 per person with a variety of 60 Thai, Chinese, and Korean-inspired ingredients, including fresh seafood, marinated meats, and shabu shabu options!

For grilling, enjoy marinated meats and seafood on an upgraded Thai BBQ grill plate paired with a dual soup hotpot, which you can top up to enjoy. The buffet also offers free-flow pork lard to kickstart your grill, along with a variety of marinated meats such as mala chicken, Korean-style pork belly, black pepper beef, and garlic chicken. Lesser-seen options such as beef tripe and pork rinds are also available, alongside freshly cut shabu shabu meats, including tender pork and lamb rolls.
Seafood lovers can indulge in flower crabs, tiger prawns, half-shell scallops, mussels, and dory fillets, all perfectly complemented by a tangy Thai seafood green chilli sauce for added flavour.

Enhance your meal with free-flow sauces, including XO, Thai suki, sesame, and creamy mentaiko. For an indulgent treat, add mozzarella cheese for just $3.90 to complement your grilled meats or create a cheesy ramen.Â
If you’re craving more variety, premium soup bases are available for an additional $4, with options including tom yum, mala, tomato, and pig stomach. Otherwise, the standard pork bone soup is included in your buffet at no extra charge. With 120 minutes of dining time, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the full buffet experience.

In addition to the main items, the buffet offers a variety of surimi, tofu, noodles, and greens to round out your meal. Alternatively, the stall offers ready-to-eat sides to quell your hunger while grilling up your meats. Options range from the quintessential Moo Ping ($5) to six pieces of Thai Style Sashimi Graded Hyogo Oysters ($25) if you’re up to splurge.
