Besides being comforting and flavour-packed the way Vietnamese food should be, the dishes here are also wallet-friendly. Nothing on the menu is priced more than $7!

Their pho starts from just $4, which gets you a hearty bowl of noodle soup with sliced chicken. The must-order here is definitely the Sliced Medium Rare Beef Pho ($5.50), which comes with tender meat slices that finish cooking in the piping hot broth.
Viet Corner’s owners pride themselves on using natural ingredients and herbs to draw out the broth’s punchy flavours, while minimising the use of oil. The result is a flavourful yet light soup that’s appetising and slurpable till the last drop.

The stall’s other top seller is the banh mi, starting from $4 for the Fried Egg Baguette. Your choice of protein filling is sandwiched between super crispy French baguette, which shatters satisfyingly when you bite into the crust, and soft chewy dough within. Options include Grilled Pork Baguette ($5), Vietnamese Fish Cake Baguette ($5), and Stir Fried Beef Baguette ($6).

The banh mis are stuffed with shredded lettuce, carrots, and cucumber for a nice crunch, the quintessential coriander leaves for a herby fragrance and taste, and optional red chillies for those who can handle spice.
