If you love Korean jjajangmyeon, you’d likely have heard of Paik’s Noodle. This famous noodle chain, owned by a Korean celebrity chef, has over 270 outlets across the globe. The good news is they’ve just opened two new outlets in Singapore: Waterway Point and Tiong Bahru Plaza!

Their famous Jajang Myeon ($11+) is a signature for good reason. This dish features handmade noodles topped with Korean black bean sauce, stir-fried pork, and veggies. There’s also a larger portion at $14+ if you’re extra peckish!

When we visited their original Suntec location, we were impressed by how springy the noodles were.

If your preferred carb is rice, go for their Jajang Bap ($13+) instead. This swaps out the noodles for pearl rice and a scallion omelette.

Paik’s Noodle is known for their Jjamppong ($14+) as well. Here, you get the same springy noodles soaked in a spicy seafood broth, brimming with baby octopus, pork slices, and veggies. Should you want rice instead, there’s the Bap version at $15+.

For sides, their signature Tang Suyuk (from $21+) is not to be missed. This sharing-sized platter comes with deep-fried pork, cabbage, and carrot slices, tossed in a tangy, sweet-sour sauce.

FYI, Paik’s Noodle’s new outlets look slightly smaller than their first Suntec branch. They’re also casual eateries, great for fuss-free meals instead of special occasions.

Don’t miss their ongoing promotion too, where you can snag 10% discount vouchers when you dine at their Waterway Point or Tiong Bahru Plaza outlets for a limited time only!
