If you’re new to the brand, it’s headed by Masterchef Singapore’s runner-up, Genevieve Lee, who also runs Sourbombe Bakery. The popular shio pan bakery recently did a month-long stint at Tom’s Palette Bugis after their successful debut at Takashimaya.

You can now find their freshly baked Japanese salt bread at Tree Storey, a brunch restaurant at Basement 1 of The Star Vista, for a limited time only.

We recommend visiting early to join the queue and get your shio pan fix, as stocks are limited and are said to run out fast.

This time, there are two new and exclusive flavours available—we’ll update this article once we get more information.

At previous pop-ups, the Truffle ($4.20) and Kombu ($4.20) shio pan were popular picks for their savoury, umami-packed flavour profile. They also rolled out a unique Chicken Floss Bak Kwa (price TBD) rendition for Chinese New Year!

Otherwise, you won’t go wrong with their best-selling Original ($3.60) shio pan. Online reviews tout this Japanese bread as having a buttery, salty crust with a fluffy and slightly chewy middle.

Head down soon before the pop-up is over!
