Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 6 October this year, which means it’s time to feast on mooncakes with your loved ones. With so many options to choose from, finding the perfect mooncake sets to celebrate the season can be a tad overwhelming.

To help, we’ve rounded up the best mooncakes to order for Mid-Autumn Festival 2025—from snowskin to baked flavours, and beautifully decorated sets for gifting.

1. Ding Bakery

You may know Ding Bakery for their popular range of Chinese New Year goodies, but the brand also brings out all the stops each time Mid-Autumn Festival comes around. Their award-winning range of handcrafted, small-batch mooncakes is all made with low sugar and no preservatives, ensuring each bite is as wholesome as it is delicious.

This year, the spotlight is on their Build Your Own Mooncake Bundle (from $47), which lets you mix and match baked and snowskin picks into one customised box.

If baked mooncakes are what you’re after, go for the Traditional Baked Mooncakes (from $47.18) set. Choose from four different baked flavours: the classic White Lotus Double Yolk, fragrant Pandan Double Lotus, crunchy Mixed Nuts, and the aromatic Matcha White Lotus.

Your order will be presented in beautiful cases decorated with floral art, making the sets as much a joy to gift as they are to eat. There are two designs: Celestial Regalia, a tiered box of burgundy and gold, or Opulent Eclipse, a wine-red floral case with a handle.

When it comes to snowskin options, Ding Bakery has introduced three new fruity flavours this year. The Everglow Strawberry features sun-ripened strawberries blended into a smooth, creamy filling, complete with a blush-pink hue. Imperial Crystal Lychee puts floral, premium lychees front and centre, ensuring each mouthful is as juicy as it is fresh. Finally, Kochi Yuzu delivers brightness and zest, made with yuzu sourced from Japan’s Kochi prefecture.

Snowskin orders are housed in a limited-edition Majestic Snowskin Box with Chiller Bag—cream white with delicate flowers. Prices start at $54.68 for six pieces.

FYI: Ding Bakery has a whopping 40% off early bird promo on its mooncakes, while stocks last. Enjoy free delivery too when you spend over $119. Order via the Ding Mooncake website.

Also worth mentioning are the fruity Mango, earthy Yam, and buttery Caramel, which are three new flavours for the year.

The mooncakes are available both on the Polar Puffs & Cakes online store and at all physical outlets, but said bundles are only available online.

Traditionalists, this one is for you: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s Mid-Autumn Festival launch for this year includes two baked mooncake gift sets that are as visually stunning as the treats themselves taste.

The design of each set blends elements of the hotel’s heritage with luxurious aesthetic touches. The Fullerton Baked Classics Gift Set ($95), for example, features a quartet of baked mooncakes housed in an elegant pink-and-cream box decorated with peonies and the facade of the hotel, both in gold. We love how the box can be upcycled to store jewellery or trinkets after the festival is over.
