After its Little Guilin and hotel-inspired food courts, Kopitiam has opened yet another intriguing concept. Titled Bagus Food Hall, this new Northpoint City spot features 12 halal stalls encompassing a wide range of cuisines, including Chinese, Thai, Korean and more.

One standout stall is Krispi, offering “Chinese roti”, AKA roujiamo. Made by hand daily by Chinese Muslims, the stall has Beef ($5) and Chicken ($4) packed into a crispy bun. We hear that the stall already draws a queue, so avoid peak hours if you don’t want to wait too long for your roujiamo!

For some Thai eats, stop by Egg Thai! They’ve got dishes such as Golden Tom Yum Soup Chicken Egg Floss ($7.90), Golden Pad Thai Chicken Egg Floss ($7.90), and Thai Basil Chicken Rice with Egg ($7.90). As you can tell, many of their dishes prominently feature egg, with exceptions such as the iconic Green Chicken Curry ($6.90).

Popular halal dim sum spot Tang Tea House has also opened a stall here. Expect all the dim sum mainstays to feature here, such as Siew Mai, Har Gao, Lo Mai Gai, and various bao options.

Of course, there’s also classic Malay cuisine here, such as the nasi padang by Sedap Kitchen. Check out their fragrant beef rendang and nasi ambeng sets, among other options.
