Johor Bahru just got even more happening. Horizon Mall has just opened on 3 September 2026, giving us yet another spot to check out across the causeway. Located a 10-minute drive away from LEGOLAND Malaysia, it’s perfect for families on a quick getaway or those who need some retail therapy.
Situated in Iskandar Puteri, the 150,000 sq ft mall boasts an open concept filled with lush greenery amidst JB’s concrete jungle. Currently, it offers 13 F&B outlets ahead of its full launch set for late 2026.
The current exchange rate is RM1 = ~$0.31 as of 15 September 2026.

Dig into their Hong Kong delights, such as the Beef 3 Combo Noodles (RM30), consisting of beef brisket, beef tendon, and beef tripe. There’s also the Prawn Silky Egg Rice (RM20), which features a decadent omelette, as well as Portuguese Egg Tarts (RM5.50) starring a creamy and eggy custard filling.

Other fan favourites include the Mango Pomelo Sago PLUS (RM19.90), packed with mango chunks, pomelo sacs, and sago for a refreshing punch. The stall also whips up fruit cakes and choux puffs, with their signature being the Musang King Creme Puff (RM 9.90)—perfect for durian lovers.

Crowd favourite brands CHAGEE and ZUS Coffee are also available for fellow caffeine junkies. Thai milk tea lovers can head to Cha Tra Mue or Royal Tea for some aromatic brews.
