Four Beans is a popular dessert chain with nine outlets across JB. We checked out the one at Mount Austin, and enjoyed the World of Taro Soy Beancurd (RM16+), which combined creamy taro and soft beancurd. It comes with brown sugar and soya milk on the side, which you can add according to your liking. We were also fans of the Black Sesame Shaved Ice with Taro Ball (RM20+), where a pile of shaved black sesame ice is topped with a scoop of sweet red bean paste and chewy taro balls.

The Mango Mousse and Passion Fruit Gelee (RM15.80++) comes in vibrant yellow, layering cream, fresh mango, and mango jam for a sweet-tangy treat. There’s also the Earl Grey Red Velvet Mousse Cake (RM16++), which infuses Earl Grey tea with a sweet red velvet taste—we found that it strikes a good balance between the sweet and earthy flavours.

Another highlight was the Cloud Hill (RM29+), a fruit tart layered with cream and a hint of bourbon. Pair your desserts with an Iced Espresso Matcha (from RM17+) for an earthy finish.

Don’t leave without trying the Genmaicha Mochi Tart (RM12+), a warm buttery tart filled with soft, chewy mochi and topped with crispy cookie crumbs.
