Brotherbird Bakehouse Will Open A Pop-up In Shell Sengkang

Brotherbird Bakehouse pop-up in Shell Sengkang

Popular croissant bakery Brotherbird Bakehouse has announced on Instagram that they will bring their pop-up concept to Shell Sengkang, following the success of their Shell Tampines run.

The pop-up will run from 1 September to 31 October, according to their Instagram. The bakery also teases that North and West locations are underway, so fans can look forward to that as well.

As with the Tampines pop-up, Brotherbird Bakehouse will bring 13 flavours of croissants to Shell Station at Sengkang. This comprises their bestsellers, from the Mentaiko Prawn Twice-Baked savoury Croissant, to their sweet Taro Croissant.

Other items to look forward to are their Churros Croissant, and Cinnamon Brown Sugar Knots. No word yet as to whether patrons will be able to get Brotherbird Bakehouse’s popular mochi croissants in the new pop-up just yet.

The pop-up will run from 4pm to 9pm on weekdays, and 11am till 4pm on weekends. Everything is while stocks last, so expect the bakes to run out well beforehand. You can check out stock availabilities via their Telegram channel before heading down.

If you definitely want to bag croissants, opt to order their bake box online, and choose Shell Sengkang as your pick-up point. ICYMI, Brotherbird Bakehouse does monthly curated bake boxes with six different croissants and pastries. Flavours differ monthly, and you can pre-order on their website. Typically, a box is priced at $32.50.

Also worth noting is the fact that Brotherbird Bakehouse has recently revamped their CT Hub 2 flagship. The Lavender bakery now has a drive-through, open from 10am to 2:30pm daily, or until sold out. This small kiosk will stock a selection of Brotherbird’s bakes, and patrons can simply drive-thru to order.

You can also visit their sit-down cafe, Brotherbird Coffeehouse, in Bali Lane, which sells their bakes, as well as desserts and savoury items.

In other news, the famed Hokkaido cake-in-a-can vending machine, Okashi Gaku is coming to Singapore this September. There’s also a new three-in-one concept cafe, Eclipse 51 @ Tras, which houses Tigerlily Patisserie, Ben Yeo’s SG Chee Cheong Fun, and pastries from chef Francis Wong under one roof.
