If this news sounds familiar, that’s because the popular homegrown croissant shop first did a pop-up at the same mall in February 2023.

We spotted the news in a recent I Love Tampines Instagram post, which stated that the bakery will open in July 2024 at Level 1, next to 4Fingers.

This marks the brand’s first East-side opening. You can look forward to 15 flavours available daily, along with new and exclusive items that’ll be rolled out.

For those who’ve yet to try Brotherbird Bakehouse, here’s a lowdown on what’s good. The brand began their first flagship in Lavender’s CT Hub 2, but has since expanded to a now-defunct cafe in Little India, and a more recent opening in Raffles City.

Brohtherbird made a name for themselves with their unique range of croissant flavours, including being one of the first brands to introduce mochi croissants to Singaporean diners. They also have a selection of regular and seasonal flavours, with the latter changing month on month. You can buy their croissants individually, or in bake boxes, which you can order via their website, and collect at any of their outlets.

Their croissants are also twice-baked, ensuring a fluffy, honeycomb middle, and a shatteringly crisp outer. Apart from croissants, the bakery also sells danishes.

Must-try flavours include their Rocher Croissant, which comes with a hazelnut filling, a chocolate glaze, and baked almonds. Else, the Mentaiko Prawn Twice-Baked is another crowd favourite. This savoury treat stars a smoky mentaiko prawn filling with mozzarella cheese for added richness. Most of their croissants are priced under $8.

Seasonal bakes such as their Mango Sticky Rice Twice-Baked Croissant and Maple Pecan Croissant also make appearances in bake boxes, and in-stores, on rotation.

We’ll update this article with details about the opening and prices of the croissants when we get more information.
