Brothers Ramen may sport an unassuming storefront, but the joint often attracts long queues even before they open, for a good reason—you can get a bowl of ramen starting from just $12.90++. The casual eatery is located in International Plaza, which is a two-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station.

Brothers Ramen is not just praised for their affordability, but also for their quality. Plus, they make their own ramen noodles from scratch! Unsurprisingly, they’ve garnered a pretty solid reputation among the ramen-loving community in Singapore.

Their most affordable dish is the Light Megamen, which sets you back at just $12.90++. This bowl of ramen nods to the Jiro-style ramen, which is extra popular in Japan. It is known for its generous portions of noodles and ingredients, including thick-cut pork slices, fresh beansprouts, and generous amounts of garlic.

Else, the signature Brothers Ramen ($14.90++) is also a popular choice among customers. Instead of the usual tonkotsu broth, which tends to have a strong pork flavour, this bowl of ramen combines pork, chicken, and ginger for a more balanced profile. Their handmade noodles are also medium-thin, offering a nice bite. 

Fans rave about the meat in the ramen, too. Their regular pork chashu is done well, but their chicken chashu, which is usually hard to nail, is praised for being especially tender, juicy, and flavourful.
