2. Museum of Ice Cream: 60% off tickets

To celebrate SG60, the Museum of Ice Cream is offering 60% off tickets to all Singaporeans aged 60 and above, valid from 1 August to 31 August 2025! Time to bring your parents (or grandparents) out for a fun day of unlimited sweet treats and multi-sensory installation.
The entrance ticket usually costs $35 per person, so seniors only pay $14 with this promo, which is an absolute steal. Visitors can enjoy up to 19 delicious ice creams and eight toppings available, with unlimited servings of crowd favourites such as Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. To enjoy the deal, simply present a valid NRIC upon arrival.

3. Kyoto Ramen Hachicken: $0.06 chawanmushi

Kyoto Ramen Hachicken, a ramen restaurant at Chinatown Point, has rolled out SG60 promos this month. From 27 July to 10 August 2025, diners can enjoy the Fuwa Fuwa Hachicken Chawanmushi, which is usually priced at $3.40, for just $0.06 with an order of ramen.
Alternatively, grab your parents or grandparents above the age of 60, and visit the restaurant on 9 August to enjoy 60% off all ramen. A valid ID will be required to enjoy the deal!

4. Gyu-Kaku: New value set meals

This August, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is serving up value-for-money yakiniku sets featuring their SG60-exclusive dishes, where premium meats and seafood are given a local twist.
If you’ve been craving Wagyu but holding back because of the price, the Rendang Set ($48.60++, U.P. $74.30++) is a great excuse to finally dig in. You’ll get tender, slow-braised Kagoshima A4 Wagyu Nakaochi perfumed with rempah, alongside your choice of Prawn or Chicken Rendang, and Pork Belly to barbecue. Each set feeds two.
Chilli crab lovers will be pleased to know that Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is pulling out all the stops with their new Chilli Crab Set ($38.60++, U.P. $46.70++). This two-person bundle pairs the sweet, spicy, and tangy chilli crab sauce with juicy slices of grilled karubi beef, with additional portions of Chicken and Pork Belly to grill to your heart’s content.
Bigger groups can opt for the SG60 Gyu-Kaku Gourmet Set ($76.60++, U.P. $101.40++), which feeds four with premium cuts of Australian Wagyu Rosu, Karubi, Pork Belly, and any one SG60 promo item—ideal for mixing and matching.

5. Soup Restaurant: 60% off selected items
This month, Soup Restaurant has rolled out a sweet 60% off on some of their most popular dishes. Through August 2025, enjoy a 60% discount on the iconic Samsui Ginger Chicken: juicy and tender chicken that’s steamed, then served with fresh lettuce leaves and the restaurant’s famous ginger sauce. Usually priced at $22.90++, this dish goes for just $9.16++ with the promo! Besides this signature dish, you can also get 60% off the Traditional Boiled Soup of the Day (U.P. $22.90++), Honey Truffle Pork Chop (U.P. $25++), and Tofu Prawn (U.P. $25.90++).
Do note that this deal is available for dine-in only, with a $30 minimum spend on weekdays and $60 on weekends. Each table can enjoy one discounted dish.

6. En Yeoh’s Bak Kut Teh: $6 sides
If you love Malaysian-style bak kut teh as much as we do, you’ll want in on this deal. From now till 31 August 2025, En Yeoh’s Bak Kut Teh is offering $6 sides and drinks to diners who order any of their signature Claypot Bak Kut Teh (Soup). Side options include Beansprouts, En Yeoh’s Signature Edamame, Ngoh Hiang Balls, and Crispy Prawn Sticks. Alternatively, sip on comforting brews such as Pu Er Tea and Shou Mei Wang White Tea, perfect for washing down a heavy meal.

7. Menya Kokoro: $0.60 kakiage

Menya Kokoro is known for their innovative fusion noodle dishes. This SG60, they’ve come up with a locally inspired flavour: Bak Kut Teh Mazemen ($14.80), where springy noodles are tossed in dark soy sauce, red chilli, and you tiao, then served with a side of peppery bak kut teh soup.
Also, on 8 August and 9 August, you can enjoy any locally flavoured kakiage AKA tempura, at just $0.60! Choose from three options: Oyster Kakiage (orh piah), Ebi Kakiage (hey piah), and Chive Kakiage (gu cai piah). Simply dine in and order any of their mains to enjoy this deal.

8. Shrimp Prawn Hotpot: $18.80 buffet
Sub-$20 buffets are hard to come by these days, so when we heard of Shrimp Prawn Hotpot, we knew we had to check them out. After all, the new stall in Yishun is run by Shrimp Prawn Seafood, an eatery that serves up some of the best Thai prawn vermicelli in the country.
You can enjoy their $18.80 hotpot buffet here, which includes free-flow crayfish, flower crab and more. Furthermore, for all Sundays in August 2025, Yishun residents can also enjoy a free lobster—just present one IC with “Yishun” in the address! You’ll get one lobster if you’re in a group of up to four, and two lobsters for five or more diners.

We Tried A $18.80 Buffet At Shrimp Prawn Seafood’s New Hotpot Stall In Yishun
9. Yang Ming Seafood: $8.80 weekday lunch
FYI: Popular zi char restaurant Yang Ming Seafood has rolled out value-for-money lunchtime deals on weekdays, priced from just $8.80 for a main. This promo is available from Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm at their VivoCity restaurant, and 11am to 2pm at their Bishan and Ubi outlets.
The cheapest option in the lineup is the Daily Soup ($8.80++) that’s slow-cooked each day, with highlights including Old Cucumber, Lotus Root, and Watercress. Those who want something more filling can consider the Braised Chicken with Ginger & Scallions ($11.80++) and Spicy Pan-Fried Grouper Fillet ($13.80++) instead.
