Hello Arigato Is Opening In Bukit Timah With Wagyu Hamburg Sando, Miso Carbonara And More

Hello Arigato is opening in Bukit Timah

We visited Hello Arigato at their new-ish Everton Park store recently, where we fell in love with their milk donuts and house-made shokupan sandwiches. Great news for Bukit Timah peeps: they’re set to open their latest, and fourth, cafe on Bukit Timah Road this 3 August 2023! That’s not all, because this space is set to be their biggest yet, and they’re introducing brand new dishes on the menu too.

When we visited Hello Arigato pre-launch, the outdoor space wasn’t ready yet, but it promises something like 40 seats—under awnings of course—and will be pet-friendly!

Otherwise, there are about 20 seats indoors, and on the second floor, they’re planning to have a cosy dessert bar for Shibuya toasts and more.

The house-baked shokupan that we had at Everton Park are on the menu here, with all-new filling options, plus the classics that we are familiar with. Start with the Wagyu Hamburg Gyu Sando ($28), which stars a whopping 180g, house-made patty of Wagyu beef—a juicier, more melt-in-your-mouth alternative to the Gyu Sando ($26) they’re famous for at their other locations.

Also new to the menu is Red Curry Kani Sando ($20), which spotlights a crab and prawn patty with pickled Spanish onions and a house-made red curry sauce. Spiked with kaffir lime, this is a real appetising sandwich that you should try at least once.

You’ll find an outlet-exclusive selection of pasta dishes here too, marrying both Italian and Japanese flavours. There are five pastas on the menu, including Hokkaido Milk Carbonara ($22), which departs from your classic carbonara with the addition of Hokkaido milk.

It’s also prepared with bucatini, a long, hollow noodle that’s all the better for the creamy, eggy sauce. Smoked pancetta and shiro miso, AKA white miso, add savoury and umami notes too.

On the drinks front, don’t miss their Lychee Rose Soda ($6), which we loved for its aromatic, floral flavour. There are real lychee bits in here too! Plus, unlike similar drinks elsewhere, this was only mildly sweet, and ultra refreshing. Of course, you’ll also be able to order Hello Arigato’s range of coffee drinks, prepared with their own House of Arigato beans, such as Iced White Coffee ($6.50) or an Iced Dirty Matcha ($8).

P.S.: Hello Arigato is releasing a limited-edition set of bubble tea (BBT)-inspired milk doughnuts this weekend at Everton Park! Expect flavours including Oolong Tea, bursting with a centre of creamy, tea-infused cream, and Jasmine Tea.

True to the BBT experience, you’ll even find tapioca pearls in some of these doughnuts too. There’s no news on how long they’ll be available for, so put Hello Arigato Everton Park on the to-do list for this weekend if you’d like to cop one of these.

For Korean-inspired pastries, head to newly opened Snap Cafe in Tanjong Pagar; otherwise Action City Cafe in Jewel is a cafe hidden in a toy store!
