Honey Bear has DIY soft serve in Orchard
While dessert options are aplenty along Orchard Road, Honey Bear, a relatively new ice cream kiosk, stands out for its unique concept: DIY soft serve.

At the kiosk are four self-churning flavours of soft serve: Yoghurt, Hokkaido Matcha, Sea Salt Coconut, and Japanese White Peach. Choose what size of cup you’d like: Small ($3), Regular ($5), or Large ($8).
With your cup in hand, scoop however much ice cream you’d like—but don’t go too full if you’re planning on adding loads of toppings!
Then, go to town on all the various free-flow toppings—we counted more than 20 options, so you’re spoilt for choice here.
Needless to say, we had quite a lot of fun piling as many sweet treats into our cup as possible.
If that’s not enough, there’s even a cotton candy station where a cloud of pink fluff is spun on the spot, then placed atop your already rainbow coloured sweet pile. Here’s what our Sea Salt Coconut looks like when stacked to the brim.
If you prefer your ice cream without the extra bits, you can opt for the affordable Soft Serve Cone ($1.50). We went for the matcha flavour, and found that it was a little too light on the tea aspect—milk was most of what we could taste. Still, at that price point, we can’t fault it too much. So if you’re looking for cheap ice cream in the Orchard area, or are looking for the most indulgent possible treat, you may want to check out Honey Bear.
