Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight has $1 chicken rice

As our unofficial national dish, chicken rice is a go-to meal for many Singaporeans. If you’re looking to have it on a tight budget, though, there’s no better place to get it than at Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight’s Telok Blangah Crescent outlet—for the time being, at least. The stall is offering a plate of what they call Japanese Style Roasted Chicken Rice for just $1.

We’re not sure what this “Japanese Style” means for roasted chicken rice, but for that price, I’m not asking any questions.

This isn’t the first time Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight, a roast meat franchise with several outlets across the country, has had a $1 promo for its chicken rice. This time, it is specifically the Telok Blangah Crescent stall that has this offer, so do ensure you’re heading down to the right outlet or you may have to pay regular price for a plate.

Each customer can purchase up to a maximum of three plates or packets of chicken rice. Should you want to add roast pork such as char siew to each set, an additional $1.50 is required.

And as part of this promo, a whole chicken will set you back just $9.90. For chicken rice fans on a budget, this has to be an incredible bargain. Those who are interested should head down soon, as there’s no telling when this offer will expire.
