If you work in the CBD, specifically Tanjong Pagar, you may have come across a recent addition to the hood. Jo Ju Bang is a new kiosk at Tanjong Pagar Plaza specialising in kimbap and traditional Korean chicken stew.

The takeaway-only stall is run by a Korean-Singaporean couple who are probably more known for being the faces behind @sgkr.singakorean. They rose to internet fame for selling legit home-cooked Korean food on their TikTok account, though fans also love their funny videos.

The menu at Jo Ju Bang is rather small; here you get to pick from four Kimbap flavours: Vegetable ($8.90), Traditional ($9.90), Cheese ($10.90), and Tuna ($10.90).

These traditional Korean rice rolls are packed in a box, so they’re great for eating on the go if you’re in a hurry.

According to online reviews, their kimbap is packed with a generous amount of ingredients, so you’re getting great bang for your buck.
Besides rice rolls, the kiosk also offers Jjimdak AKA Korean soy braised chicken, and Dak Dori Tang, which is a classic spicy chicken stew dish with rice cakes and potato chunks. Both dishes are priced at $9.90 for four wings and drumlets, and $13.90 for six pieces.
