Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, Luke’s Lobster, and Leckerbaer has a new cafe in Mandai
At Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a place that already houses numerous dining options, a new eatery is set to steal the limelight. I’m talking about the Luke’s Lobster, Leckerbaer, Mr. Holmes Bakehouse joint outlet, which has opened in Mandai Wildlife West.
This multi-concept cafe offers delectable treats from all three of the aforementioned brands, all under one roof. That means you can look forward to an array of croissants, cruffins, lobster rolls, grilled cheese sandwiches, ice cream puffs and more.
If you’re looking for something hearty, Luke’s Lobster menu has you covered. Go for the Signature Roll ($25.50++), which has fresh and succulent lobsters packed in a buttery split-top bun. If your child isn’t fond of seafood, there’s the kids menu item Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Tomato Soup ($10++) to fill them up—adults will probably enjoy this too, as the tomato soup is seriously rich and flavourful.
As for delicious bakes, Mr. Holmes Bakehouse has plenty for you to choose from. Savoury options include the Creamy Lox Donut ($5.50++), Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Cruffin ($7++), and Spam & Egg with Kimchi Croissant ($12++). Those with a sweet tooth can opt for bomboloni doughnuts in flavours such as Chocolate ($5.50++) or Peanut Butter & Jelly ($5.50++).
Finish your meal with some desserts from Leckerbaer—we recommend either the Ice Cream Sandwich ($7++) or Ice Cream Puff ($8.50++). The latter features puffs that are crispy yet delightfully airy, and come with ice cream flavours such as matcha, coconut, and passion fruit.
The store sports a cosy and sizeable interior that sees plenty of natural light during the day. But if you’d like to take in more sun, there’s an outdoor dining area that lets you dine amid some nice greenery.
For those bringing their children, there’s even a kid’s corner to keep them entertained as you focus on the good eats. All these factors make the multi-concept store a great stop whenever you’re visiting Bird Paradise or the other tourist attractions.
