Acai bowls have long been a fan favourite in Singapore, and one of the latest additions that has been generating some buzz lately is Nakoko. Tucked away at Lau Pa Sat in Raffles Place, this spot serves up dairy-free acai soft serve with 18 different toppings to choose from.

Similar to Yole, Nakoko lets you enjoy your soft serve in a cup or sundae form. Here, a medium-sized cup includes one topping while a large-sized one offers three toppings.

8 Best Acai Shops In Singapore Ranked

Prices for a cup depend on the soft serve base you choose. Acai and Chocolate are priced at $6.50 for a medium and $8.20 for a large, while Yoghurt costs $6.20 for a medium and $7.70 for a large.

For generous portions, go for the sundae, which sees your toppings sandwiched between two layers of soft serve. It’s priced at $9.50 for the Acai and Chocolate bases, and $9 for the Yoghurt base.

Nakoko-Toppings

The best part about Nakoko is that there are a total of 18 healthy toppings and four drizzles to choose from, including lesser-seen selections such as Dried Thailand Mango, Dark Chocolate, and Dried Blueberry. The nut options are endless too: think Baked Cashews, Sunflower Seeds, Chia Seeds, and Pumpkin Seeds—the list goes on.

Drizzles include the popular Pistachio, Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Praline, and Almond Nut Butter, with the former having a strong nutty taste.

Nakoko-Acai-Establishment

Nakoko’s acai leans creamier than most acai bowls elsewhere, as it’s essentially a soft serve. It isn’t as tart or sweet as what you’d find at Acai Affair or Project Acai, making it a great option for those who don’t have a sweet tooth.

Nakoko-Yoghurt-Establishment

The yoghurt was a collective favourite as its slight tartness made it a refreshing choice for a hot day out.

Nakoko-Chocolate-Establishment

The chocolate soft serve had a subtle hazelnut taste, striking a good balance between a chocolatey richness and nuttiness that we think chocolate lovers will enjoy!

If soft serve isn’t your thing, Nakoko also has a range of pastries including Sliced Cakes ($5.90 for one), Cupcakes ($3.90 for one) and Tarts ($7.90 for one). The latter comes in interesting flavour combinations such as Black Sesame Matcha and Mint Choco.

Nakoko-Storefront

Nakoko is located in Food Folks, the air-conditioned section of Lau Pa Sat. It’s only a five-minute walk from Raffles Place MRT Station, making it a great pick for those looking for a dessert spot after dining in the CBD!
