O.BBa Jjajang would probably ring a bell if you’re a fan of Korean food. With several outlets across Singapore, they have ventured into opening express outlets, which offer a portion of their menu at an affordable price. Following their first O.BBa Jjajang Express in Woodlands, they have now opened a second outlet at One Punggol Hawker Centre

Dining to your heart’s content at any Korean restaurant in Singapore could break the bank because let’s be honest, Korean food is rarely cheap. But that’s not the case here as you can enjoy a satisfying meal at around half the price or even less.

The popular Korean restaurant chain isn’t just known for their K-BBQ, but also their signature black bean noodles as well as sweet and sour pork. Their newest outlet at Punggol Hawker Centre sees a decent selection of Korean food, including Jajangmyeon ($6.80), Jjamppong ($8.80), and Tangsuyuk ($9.80).

Their Jjamppong features a combination of noodles, prawns, mussels, oysters, and vegetables. Plus, the smoky and aromatic seafood soup will keep you going back for more. This dish is priced at $18++ in their non-express outlets, so it’s an absolute steal to enjoy it at less than $10.

If you’re a rice-over-noodle type of foodie, we recommend their Jajang Bab ($3.60). A bowl of rice is doused in a generous amount of black bean sauce, and you get a fair share of vegetables and small cubes of pork in the sauce as well. For a substantial meal, you can get a side of their Fried Pork Dumplings ($3.50), which comes with three pieces.
