Pura Vida Cocina has Mexican food at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre
It’s not every day you come across a hawker stall specialising in Mexican food like Pura Vida Cocina Mexican Fusion. Having recently opened in the new Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre, Pura Vida Cocina Mexican Fusion is already turning heads in the North-East for its interesting cuisine of choice.

One of these is the Carne Asada Taco ($10), which features cubes of beef packed with vegetables and other ingredients, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. While this taco wasn’t amazing or anything, we appreciated that it was filled with ingredients, and that there was a side of nachos to enjoy with the tacos.
Speaking of nachos, Pura Vida Cocina Mexican Fusion offers options such as the Vegetarian Nachos ($7.50), Curry Chicken Nachos ($8.50), and Carne Asada Nachos ($12). Each tortilla chip is on the thinner side of things; nevertheless, the stall seems quite generous with the portion of nachos, making them ideal for sharing.
For a heartier meal, the stall offers a few Mexican rice dishes, including Grilled Beef Rice ($14.50), Spiced Chicken Rice ($7.50) and more.
Those in a DIY mood can even choose to customise a Burrito Bowl here. You can mix and match a range of carbs, protein, vegetables, sauces, and toppings, with the price varying based on what you get.
