Quasont is a new pastry shop in Woodlands with cheap croissants
Fresh croissants are great, but they’re not exactly cheap—most bakeries sell them for upwards of $4 each. Good news: you can now get croissants from just $2.80 at Quasont., a new bakery cafe in Woodlands!Â

Debuted earlier this month at 888 Plaza in Woodlands, the pastry shop serves a selection of baked goods, savoury mains, crispy bites, drinks, and sweets. However, given the store’s name, it’s safe to assume the stars of the show are probably the buttery croissants that are baked fresh on-site daily.

Prices for these flaky creations start from $2.80 for a plain croissant, and can go up to $8.80 for a Ham & Cheese Quasont that’s drizzled with salted egg sauce and paired with a side of sweet potato fries or salad.

They also have sweet options such as Dark Chocolate Quasont ($4.80), topped with ganache and a rich dark chocolate filling, Kouign Aman ($2.20), Fresh Fruit Danish ($2.80), and Hokkaido Milk Danish ($2.50). Prices are kept affordable, with most items under $5!

For those with a bigger appetite, there’s a long list of mains such as Salmon Fillet ($16.80), Banger & Mash ($13.80), Seafood Aglio Olio ($13.80), and Grain Bowl ($12.80). Pair your meal with a refreshing Strawberry Elderflower Brewed Tea ($5) or a warm cup of Mocha ($4). Top up $0.50 for an iced drink.Â

To end your feast on a sweet note, Pandan Waffles (from $2.50), Burnt Cheesecake ($8.80), and Quaffle with Ice Cream ($8.80) are available too, if you’d like something more than just pastries.Â
