Roast Paradise opens in Jurong with famous roast meats
Here’s a piece of good news for all Westies: Roast Paradise is opening at Jurong, their first stall in the West! The new outlet is set to launch on 21 December 2023Â at 132 Jurong Gateway, a three-minute walk from Jurong East MRT Station.
This latest branch replaces their New Upper Changi Road stall, which recently shut down due to rising costs. Check out the Instagram post above to find out more.
Roast Paradise‘s OG outlet is at Old Airport Road Food Centre, where they first opened in 2015. The stall is most known for their KL-style char siew and roast pork AKA siew yoke.
Their Char Siew Rice ($4.50/$5.50) comes highly recommended. The highlight is the thick chunks of fatty, caramelised char siew that’s roasted for up to three hours, paired with the stall’s signature sticky-sweet sauce.
There’s also a noodle option at the same price. The mee pok noodles, which are said to be springy, are tossed in the char siew drippings, and best paired with a dollop of chilli.
You’ll also find the usual Roast Pork on the menu, available with rice or noodles (from $4.50), or as an a la carte platter (from $6.50). Regulars tout the siew yoke to have a deliciously crispy skin, complemented by a fatty layer and uber-tender meat.

There’s also Roast Duck (from $15) that’s great for sharing if you’re dining in a big group! The meat is said to be extra juicy and savoury, with a slightly crisp skin.
