Singaporeans went absolutely nuts when our favourite JB coffee buns from Rotiboy came back on the scene here. This December, look forward to yet another spot to get your Rotiboy fix when the bakery opens their second outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 3, at Basement 2!

Famed for their namesake Rotiboy ($2.50 each, $11.50 for five), you can soon get your hands on them at yet another location in the East. These pillowy, fluffy Mexican coffee buns are best eaten warm, so you get the most out of their coffee-flavoured cookie crust.

If you didn’t know, Rotiboy used to be available in Singapore, until they left our shores in 2006. Now that we can’t travel to JB, it’s ultra timely that they’ve returned.

Other than the classic Rotiboy, the menu has now expanded to include items such as Buttermilk Bun ($3 each, $11 for four), Mocha Bun ($3 each, $11 for four), and Cheese Bun ($3 each, $11 for four), where the Mocha Bun features the same coffee bun, but with an oozy chocolate centre.

While the iconic coffee bun is still our favourite, non-coffee lovers can go for one of their other options. The Cheese Bun is topped with a cookie and cheese crust, and loaded with a sweet cream cheese filling, while the Buttermilk Bun has a salty-sweet filling that’s reminiscent of salted egg yolk.
