BCD Korean Tofu House To Open In Punggol With Soondubu Jjigae Sets From $6

BCD Korean Tofu House at Punggol

While the VTL to Korea is up and running, the cost of the numerous tests involved is a drawback for many of us. Now, you don’t need to worry about having to travel to Korea for authentic Korean cuisine, as BCD Korean Tofu House will be opening their second outlet in Punggol on 1 March 2022! Helmed by the co-founder of SBCD Korean Tofu House, Chef Nam Kyoung Soo, the Korean hawker stall first opened in Ang Mo Kio, offering quick and affordable Korean meals.

Here, they specialise in soft tofu soup, which is made with soup paste prepared according to a secret recipe in-house, with 10 different ingredients. What also makes them authentic are the specially imported ingredients from Paju, South Korea━a city located near the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) that’s known for its high-quality produce.

The new BCD Korean Tofu House will feature a new menu item: Korean Dumplings, priced at $4.50 for three pieces and $6.50 for five pieces. The dumplings come in three flavours: Pork, Kimchi, and Japchae, which is definitely different from your typical jiaozi.

Similar to the outlet in Ang Mo Kio, all of the six tofu sets here come with kimchi, rice, and a pack of Korean seaweed. Their Vegetable Soon Tofu Set ($6) comes with an assortment of vegetables, including broccoli, for a non-meat option. Otherwise, meat lovers can go with the Pork Soon Tofu Set ($7) or the Beef Soon Tofu Set ($7), both of which come with generous servings of pork or beef slices.

For those who are into seafood, get the Seafood Soon Tofu Set ($8) that comes with prawns, clams, and mussels. Alternatively, get seafood, pork, and beef when you opt for the Assorted Soon Tofu Set ($8). The Dumpling Soon Tofu Set ($7) is another choice to look out for here, with the stall’s own pork, kimchi, and vegetable dumplings.

BCD Korean Tofu House’s menu is also available for delivery via GrabFood and foodpanda. For more information on their newest launch, check out their Facebook page or Instagram page
