Swensen’s Nugget Ice Cream is available for a limited time only
From coriander-themed food to nasi lemak ice cream cake, we’ve covered our fair share of whacky snacks and dishes on the site. Here’s another one to add to the list: Swensen’s has launched their new ‘Nugget’ Ice Cream, just in time for April Fools’ Day!
The halal-certified ‘nuggets’ come packed in a cute clamshell box that features the brand’s red pop art design—one glance and you might just mistake it for an actual box of chicken nuggets. The cheapest option is a box of six, which costs $8.80. For the full experience, get a tub of 18 pieces, which will set you back $21.60.
Each piece is almost identical to everyone’s favourite McNugget; you get a crispy crust made of crushed cereal that looks just like the exterior of a savoury nugget. Even the shape is scarily similar.
Biting into it reveals a middle that’s made of Swensen’s signature vanilla ice cream. It’s sweet, creamy, and oh-so-indulgent.
For extra visual effect, dip your ‘nugget’ into the ‘sauces’ on the side, including a fruity strawberry jam.
Swensen’s ‘Nugget’ Ice Cream is now available at Swensen’s and Earle Swensen’s stores islandwide, and for delivery via their website, GrabFood, Deliveroo, and Foodpanda.
