Tiffany & Co. opens Blue Box Cafe at ION Orchard

I’ll be honest—when I heard Tiffany & Co. was opening a cafe in Singapore, I was already sold before even knowing what was on the menu. My first big-girl purchase was a necklace from Tiffany & Co., so the brand holds a special place for me. And now, with the opening of their first Blue Box Cafe in Southeast Asia right here at ION Orchard, I had to go down and see what it was all about.

The cafe sits on the top floor of Tiffany’s newly renovated three-storey boutique, designed by famous architect Peter Marino to emulate the brand’s iconic Fifth Avenue store in New York. With just over 20 seats, it’s an intimate space, but thoughtfully designed—mirrors and other carefully considered details make it feel far more spacious than the seating count would suggest.

The space is dressed in signature Tiffany Blue from top to bottom. The dishware is Tiffany & Co.’s own, and dangling blue boxes serve as a ceiling installation that ties the whole look together.

Dotted around the space are also framed photographs of Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s—a detail that made me smile, partly because it’s such a fitting nod to the cafe’s namesake. Moon River playing softly in the background would have completed the moment.

The three-part menu is a collaboration with Chef Julien Royer, chef-owner of three Michelin-starred Odette. It spans Breakfast at Tiffany‘s from 10am to 11.30am, All Day Dining between 11.30am and 9pm, and Tea at Tiffany‘s from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

We went for the Tea at Tiffany’s Set ($98++ per person), which comes with free-flow coffee, tea, or soft drinks. This gorgeous high tea set, served on a three-tiered stand, includes five savoury tea sandwiches, four patisseries, and three cakes.

Potato Millefeuille with Oscietra Caviar and Creme Fraiche

On the savoury tier, the standout for us was the Potato Millefeuille with Oscietra Caviar and Creme Fraiche, a fried number featuring potato layers finished with a dollop of caviar and creme fraiche.

wagyu cecina roll

We also enjoyed the Wagyu Cecina Roll, featuring Spanish-style salted and cured beef with a deep, smoky flavour. Here, it was paired with black truffle for a burst of umami, making it one of the more memorable savoury bites on the stand.

Yamanashi Peach Melba

Moving on to the patisseries, the one that left a mark on me was the Yamanashi Peach Melba. Yamanashi peaches from Japan are known for being intensely sweet and juicy, and that natural sweetness came through cleanly here.

Pandan Chouquette

The Pandan Chouquette was a lovely nod to local flavours, featuring a light choux pastry filled with kaya and pandan cream, topped with desiccated coconut and a hazelnut praline crunch. We also enjoyed the Chestnut Cheesecake, which was creamy and earthy in equal measure.

Calamansi Tartelette with Confit Calamansi

A special mention goes to the Calamansi Tartelette with Confit Calamansi. If you’re familiar with Odette’s menu, this item will feel familiar. Inspired by Chef Julien Royer’s famous Calamansi & Thai Basil Tart, it’s bright, zesty, and refreshing, built with calamansi mousse, grapefruit marmalade, olive oil sponge, and calamansi curd.

If you’re coming for the All Day Dining menu instead, the Tiffany Burger ($34++) is worth ordering. It sees a thick Wagyu patty that was uber juicy with each bite, served with cocktail sauce and a generous side of thick-cut fries that were perfectly seasoned.

Otherwise, the Confit Yellow Chicken ($48++) is essentially a refined take on chicken rice, made with Niigata rice that’s topped with crispy chicken skin for a satisfying crunch, alongside grilled maitake mushrooms and an Albufera sauce poured tableside. It’s topped with edible flowers too, which makes it one of the prettier plates on the menu.

The cafe has already been drawing plenty of interest, with reservations filling up fast ahead of their grand opening on 15 July 2026. If you want to score a table, fastest fingers first—book via their website before slots fill up.
