Over at Capitol Singapore, fans can look forward to new menu additions, such as Mushroom Braised Pork Rice (price TBC) and Savoury Beancurd (price TBC). The latter is a classic breakfast dish that’s commonly seen in eateries in Taiwan; it features a bed of beancurd with you tiao, dried shrimp, soya sauce, and pickled veggies.

Old favourites will be available at this new cafe, too. Tuck into the familiar flavours of dan bing AKA Taiwanese omelette, priced from $4.80 for the basic rendition. This traditional breakfast item stars a thin and chewy crepe-like pancake enveloping savoury add-ons including egg. Other fillings such as meat floss and cheese are also available, should you want something more substantial.
