Uncle Lee Has New Vending Machine At Suntec With Old-School Cakes

Uncle Lee Confectionery has new vending machine at Suntec City

New in: Uncle Lee Confectionery just launched their third cake vending machine, this time at Suntec City! Their previous two vending machines are located in Woodleigh and Bukit Batok.

The popular old-school bakery is headed by Uncle Lee, who boasts over 35 years of bakery experience under his belt.

Here’s how the ordering process works: simply select your cake size and flavour on the touch screen before making payment. Then, a delivery tray will move upwards to retrieve the cake stored in the box, before gently lowering it to the collection area.

There are five cake flavours available: Kaya Pandan, Peanut, Chocolate, Rainbow Chocolate, and Nostalgic Yam Cake. Prices vary depending on the size of the cake.

Those who love orh nee desserts will be happy to know that the Suntec vending machine will offer the new Nostalgic Yam Cake, priced at $28 for a six-inch round.

If you love anything taro, you have to try this cake. It stars Uncle Lee’s signature vanilla cake sponge paired with a rich yam buttercream.

The soft and fluffy vanilla cake layers go well with the earthy taro cream, which has actual yam bits that add extra creaminess in each bite. The cake is also not too sweet, so you can enjoy more of it without feeling jelak.

If you’re visiting the vending machine, we recommend dropping by earlier to avoid getting disappointed. The cakes are replenished daily at 11am every day. Based on our previous experience, they were wiped out by 12pm!
