Wally.B has halal-friendly burgers and waffles in Chinatown

There are plenty of food options in Chinatown, including countless hawker gems and aesthetic cafes. One that has just joined the neighbourhood is Wally.B, a Muslim-owned stall that specialises in stacked burgers, waffle sandwiches, and milkshakes. They’re located in People’s Park Centre, right next to Chinatown MRT Station,
The fast food-inspired eatery is probably most known for its savoury waffles. Get the Crispy Chicken Waffle ($9.70), a chunky sandwich comprising freshly baked waffles with a thick slab of deep-fried chicken and fresh greens in the middle. Fries are served on the side.

There’s also the Waffle Chicken Strip ($8.60)Â that swaps the solo chicken piece for tenders instead. According to Google reviews, the waffles are soft, thick, and not too sweet.

If you prefer something more classic, go for the Grilled Chicken Burger ($10.70). Alternatively, The Perfect Burger ($8.60) comes with a single beef patty that’s said to be juicy and well-seasoned. For all the burgers and waffles, you can also top up $1.20 for a drizzle of nacho cheese sauce all over.
Don’t forget to order their popular milkshakes, too. Signature flavours include Pistachio ($8)Â and Biscoff ($7.80).
Wally.B has another outlet in Jurong West, and they’ve also hinted at the opening of their third branch in a teaser post on Instagram.
