Hello Kitty And Little Twin Stars Cafe to open in Swissotel
Sanrio fans, put this on your radar: Swissôtel The Stamford will be opening a pop-up Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars Cafe, which will run from 22 November 2022 to 29 January 2023.

Set in The Stamford Brasserie, the pop-up is a notch up from the recent Hello Kitty-themed high tea we got to experience at Fairmont Singapore. The entirety of the French bistro will be redecorated to spotlight Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars, with lots of pastels and decals of the characters dotting the space.Â

The menu has also been reworked to fit the theme, starring dishes with decals of Hello Kitty, Kiki, and Lala, as well as themed servingware.

Start off the meal with a bowl of On Cloud Nine ($16++), a wild mushroom soup topped with a creamy cappuccino foam, served in an adorable Hello Kitty mug.

The Fried Rice Paradise ($22++) is also another feast for the eyes—the riff on omurice comes with a strikingly blue bechamel sauce coloured with butterfly pea, and an omelette stamped with Hello Kitty, wrapped around egg fried rice with tomato sauce.

If you’re on team Little Twin Stars, opt for the Kawaii Pulled Pork Milk Bun ($28++), where fully milk buns sandwich tender pulled pork, layered with house-grow salad greens. You also get a generous portion of potato and vegetable chips to enjoy alongside.Â

Desserts here are big on the wow factor. The Monaka Wonders ($16++) marries a luscious matcha gelato with an azuki bean and honey mochi, served in a wooden tray decorated with Little Twin Stars. The Chocolate Dreams Sable Tart ($16++) is a rich chocolate tart composed with Grand Cru cocoa coulis, sea salt soil, and vanilla gelato to finish.

Also available at the Hello Kitty Little Twin Stars Cafe are themed drinks, and Christmas specials if you’re looking to share the Sanrio fever over Christmas. The latter includes log cakes and smaller sweet treats such as macarons and cupcakes.
