If you’ve just returned from your Bali holiday and are suffering from post-vacation blues, we’ve got the solution for you. Perched on the seventh floor of Momentus Hotel Alexandra, Verandah Pool Bar & Grill is the next hottest rooftop bar in town, complete with a 25-metre-long infinity pool and breathtaking sunset views that’ll make you feel like you’re in a tropical paradise.

Step into the bar and you’ll be greeted by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and cascading greenery draping from above the circular bar counter. Minimalist pendant lights hang from the ceiling, completing the bougie look.

Verandah Pool Bar & Grill also has a pristine swim-up bar—one of the first of its kind in Singapore. If you’d like to do some actual swimming instead of waddling, the infinity pool is located right beside it, offering views of The Interlace and the Southern Ridges.

The bar’s main calling card is The Verandah Sundown, featuring an Instagrammable floating tray complete with six yummy bar bites and four alcoholic beverages. Priced at $98++ for two, the picturesque spread is available daily between 4pm to 10pm, inclusive of two-hour usage of the pool.

Expect delectable bar bites such as fresh oysters, ribeye steak bites, and crabmeat remoulade in bite-sized cones. We especially loved the Mini Hot Wings served with vegetable crudites and ranch dip, as well as the Grilled Oysters, topped with shallots, crispy garlic, and Thai seafood sauce.

On the drinks front, you’ll get two glasses of Processo, house wine, or beer, along with your pick of two house cocktails.

If you’re still feeling peckish, consider ordering from their a la carte menu too. The Wagyu Beef Tartare ($16++) comes highly recommended, as well as the Charcuterie Board (from $24++), comprising prosciutto, salami, and mortadella.

Speciality handcrafted cocktails are also available at $25++ per glass. Our favourite was Alexandra’s Allure, a strong concoction starring house-made honey butter-infused bourbon. For something more refreshing, try Gillman’s Garden or the Fables of Faber—the latter being a creative spin on the classic Singapore Sling.
