10 Best Matcha Cafes In Singapore Ranked—Hvala, Tsujiri And More
1. Furiku

Furiku blew up on TikTok not too long ago for their affordable and large variety of matcha-based beverages. They currently have two outlets across JB: Sutera Mall and Aeon Terbrau. Here, you can enjoy a delicious cup of matcha latte from as low as $3!

Despite the relatively low prices, the chain uses ceremonial-grade matcha for their drinks, as you can tell by the vibrant hue of green they boast. Here, you can also customise your matcha latte just like how you would for a bubble tea drink: choose the intensity of your matcha, the base, and optional toppings! Base flavours you can pick from include strawberry yoghurt and taro. Otherwise, go for their standard Matcha Latte, priced at RM10.

True matcha enthusiasts will enjoy the fare at Slow Day Cafe, an art jamming cafe that also offers an array of matcha drinks and desserts. They have a total of five matcha drinks here: Signature Matcha, Vienna Matcha, Matcha Espresso, Strawberry Matcha, and Yuzu Matcha. The Matcha Cake and Genmaicha Cake, priced at RM28 each, are also highly raved, boasting strong umami and roasted nutty flavours.

During our visit, we enjoyed the Matcha Espresso (RM17.90), which combined the grassy notes of matcha with the roasted flavour of coffee. If you’re a beginner to the matcha scene, you would appreciate the Strawberry Matcha (RM17.90), which has a nice hint of sweetness and tang from the strawberry compote.

You get to pick from three blends: Aorashi (RM18++), Isuzu (RM20++), and Wako (RM26++). The price of the drink is dependent on the cost of the powders, with Wako being the most premium.
