Whenever we visit Amoy Street Food Centre, there’s one stall that always catches our eye. Despite being located right next to the legendary nasi lemak stall Spicy Wife, it still manages to draw steady queues, especially during peak lunch hours. That stall is AMS Steam Seafood Bee Hoon.

As its name suggests, the stall is known for its various seafood bee hoon dishes, such as the signature Steam Prawns with Bee Hoon (from $8). The dish features silky bee hoon soaked in a savoury broth, accented with the distinctive flavour of shaoxing wine. It is accompanied by fresh, sweet prawns, crunchy vegetables, and goji berries.

Another great option is the Steam Slice Fish with Bee Hoon (from $6), which replaces the prawns with some fish slices. Perfect if you’re looking for a healthy and nutritious meal!

For something brinier, opt for the Steam Lala with Bee Hoon (from $6), which comes loaded with clams. Those who aren’t fans of seafood, meanwhile, can opt for the Steam Pork Mince with Bee Hoon (from $6) or the Steam Chicken Breast with Bee Hoon (from $5).
Be sure to drop by early if you want to get your order quickly, as queues can get really long during peak lunch hours.
