Regulars love their old-school Lor Mee ($4), which dates back all the way to 1959. Each bowl comes with a generous serving of fried batang fish, pork belly, prawn roll, and yellow noodles, drenched in a viscous and flavourful gravy.
Don’t forget to add on some minced garlic, chilli, and vinegar for acidity. Fresh coriander leaves are thrown in to lift the flavours, so make sure you opt out if you aren’t a fan of the herb. Toss everything together, and enjoy the carby goodness while it’s hot!
