That’s when old-school bakeries such as Bake Of, a humble stall at Amoy Street Food Centre, step in.Â

Bake Of offers a variety of wallet-friendly bakes such as muffins, scones, and brownies. They are most known for their muffins which come in flavours including Oreo ($1.60), Blueberry ($1.60), Coffee Walnut ($1.70), Apple Cinnamon ($1.60), Matcha Cream Cheese ($2) and many more depending on the day.

One bite into any of their freshly baked muffins will confirm what many customers claim: these cakes are said to be fluffy, moist and delicious—everything a good muffin should be. Many regulars also speak of the lovely aroma that you get a whiff of as you pass by the stall during baking time.Â
