Burnt Cones, a gelato cafe that’s got branches in Clementi and Marina Bay, is celebrating their first birthday next week. They’re partying it up with 1,000 free scoops of their gelato, only at the Sunset Way outlet on 1 December 2021! They’re no stranger to giving out free ice cream, because they had a similar giveaway, albeit with only 500 scoops, at the official opening of their The Sail outpost.

Be warned that it’s fastest fingers first, as you’ll have to RSVP on the Burnt Cones website here to be one of the lucky 1,000. Each RSVP entitles you to one scoop of gelato, which you can claim at Burnt Cones from 5pm to 9pm on the day itself. Do note that there are only a limited number of seats in the cafe, so it’s most likely that you’ll have to get your scoop to-go.

All the gelato flavours on offer at Burnt Cones will be available on this free scoops promotion! Look forward to flavours including Bronte Pistachio, Bacio, a chocolate and hazelnut gelato, and classic ones such as Uji Matcha and 85% Dark Chocolate.

On a regular day, their gelato is priced between $5 and $7, but here’s even more good news: all the flavours are available for your free scoop! You can look forward to the bright purple Ube, a purple yam from the Philippines, or even Scarmoza, an Italian smoked cheese that reminded us of super cold ham!

Each scoop of gelato will come in a cup, although you can top up $1 to enjoy your scoop on one of their signature burnt cones, which come in three levels of chaota-ness—light, medium, or dark.

Alternatively, you can get their Buttermilk Waffles ($6) to go with your free scoop of gelato. We enjoyed the crusty brown exteriors, and fluffy insides, when we tried these.
