I’ve been writing my fill of cafe food guides over the last month, but because I love cafes, I’ll never tire of finding new ones. Joining the list of Upper Thomson cafes that you should visit is Cava Cafe, a pet-friendly cafe with all-day brunch and specialty coffee.Â

Otherwise, if you’re feeling adventurous, go for the locally inspired Otah Bruschetta ($18+) that’s said to be quite the hit.Â

If you love carbs, they’ve got Sakura Cream Tagliatelle ($20+), where the thick-cut pasta is dressed in mentaiko cream and tossed with scallops, tiger prawns, clams, and cherry tomatoes, then finished with sakura ebi. On the side, try their Truffle Bacon Mac & Cheese ($12+) that stars a house-made cheese mix, topped with Grana Padano cheese.Â

If you prefer something without coffee, go for the Milky Popcorn ($8+) that’s a Japanese sencha with roasted rice and butterscotch popcorn notes.Â

End the meal with Insta-worthy desserts including Matcha Opera Cake ($9+) which boasts matcha chiffon sponge, layered with matcha mousse and ganache, or Yuzu Cheesecake ($8+).
