5. Fat Lulu’s
Taking over the now defunct Five and Dime Eatery, the same people behind the cafe known for mentaiko pasta have came up with a new concept incorporating bold Asian flavors, grilled meats and seafood as well as desserts for the sweet toothed. While Fat Lulu’s is not the most accessible by foot, dessert fans can delight at a range of interesting desserts like “Atas” Kinder Bueno ($16++) that comes with Bailey’s hazelnut cream, chocolate sponge, creamy milk chocolate and a bitter chocolate sherbet.
