Fangko Coffee’s famous Smash Chimken is a must-try. You get to choose from 21 spice levels, though there’s also a non-spicy option if you’re not good with chilli. Enjoy your protein with Blue Pea Rice ($9.50), Indomee ($9.50), Fries ($12), or Indomee Fries ($15). Each serving comes with a side of smashed chicken, sunny-side up, and cucumber slices.

The Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah ($14) also comes highly recommended. This main stars a whole spiced fried chicken leg atop a bed of fragrant coconut rice, sambal, fried egg, peanuts, and anchovies.

Besides these mains, you can also find brunch classics such as Croissant Ham & Cheese ($12.50) and Buttermilk Chicken Waffles ($17.50) on the menu. The latter comes with house-made chilli for a spicy kick.

For drinks, you won’t go wrong with the Fangko Melaka ($6): espresso with fresh milk and palm sugar. This Fanko Coffee specialty is said to be rich and robust, with a caramel-like sweetness from the gula melaka.

If you’re visiting for tea, order some of their freshly baked treats on display. The Famous Banana Bread ($5.50) and Lemon Pound Cake ($5.50) are popular picks.

Petit Fangko has limited seats, so it’s best to avoid the peak lunch and dinner timings if you’re planning to dine in.

If Queenstown is too far for you, visit Fangko Coffee’s OG cafe in Clarke Quay instead.

Another must-try spot in Margaret Market is Urban Folks, a cosy cafe that offers loaded acai bowls and unique jaffles. Otherwise, if you prefer hawker fare, venture to the nearby Margaret Drive Hawker Centre for famous lontong and thunder tea rice!
