$0.90 salmon sashimi at Kazoku

Step aside, Sushi Express, as there’s a new contender in town for affordable sushi. Kazoku Japanese Cuisine is offering a huge discount on their Fresh Salmon Sushi and Sashimi, at just $0.90 a pop!
Until 30 September 2019, you’ll be able to fuel up on salmon sashimi without breaking the bank at Kazoku, which is located at Goldhill Plaza near Novena MRT Station.

If your palate is looking for something a bit richer, Kazoku has you covered. Their Salmon Aburi Sushi is on discount too, coming at $2.50 for two pieces.
It’s lightly blow-torched, then drizzled with Japanese mayo and generous scoops of ebiko, or prawn roe. If you’re planning on ordering plate after plate of half-seared salmon that melts in your mouth, this is a great time to do so.
The eatery has much more to offer than just criminally cheap sushi. They also have a spread of donburi, going as low as $8.90 for a Salmon Don and $11.90 for their signature Kazoku Don, each served with a bowl of miso soup.
Particularly notable is their Aburi Mentai Salmon Don ($10.90) that comes with heaps of smoky, rich mentaiko, and fatty slices of salmon belly. The splash of orange is certainly a sight for salmon lovers.
Located ToGather Kitchen & Bar, the bistro also houses other eateries including Baan Khun Nai, which serves Thai food. The dishes at Baan Khun Nai is equally affordable, and you’ll have no shortage of food options if sushi isn’t your thing.
