Talad Thai Banana will open at Plaza Singapura
Hot on the heels of opening not one but two new kiosks in Punggol and Ang Mo Kio, Talad Thai Banana is hitting the heart of town with their latest stall in none other than Plaza Singapura. Slated to open next Friday, 12 January, they’ve got an exciting opening promotion as well!

If you’ve not had the chance to try their Thai-style banana fritters, this Orchard Road location makes them way more accessible than the previous stalls—exit from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station into Basement Two of the popular mall to find them in the food hall there.

A single serving of their famed Fried Banana is priced at $4, and comes with six pieces of the signature thin-sliced crispies. These are prepared fresh each day with Nam Wa bananas from Thailand, battered in what’s said to be an authentic Thai batter, infused with pandan, and accented with crushed nuts plus sesame seeds.
The first 100 customers in line at Talad Thai’s latest Plaza Singapura outlet will get to enjoy these fritters at $2 a portion instead! Each customer is only limited to one serving, but you’re free to order any of their other menu items at the usual price.
What you can expect to have with the fried bananas are Sweet Potato Balls ($5) and Yam Chips ($4)—the sweet potato balls, in particular, are a labour of love, requiring double the amount of time to prepare as the banana fritters and yam chips!
Those who enjoy variety should go for the Mixed Favourites ($6) set, which gets you all three kinds of fried goodies in a single bag.
Complement your Talad Thai Banana experience with their newly launched drinks—Thai Milk Tea ($4), Thai Lemon Tea ($4), or Refreshing Lemongrass ($3). Take a dollar off these a la carte prices if you pair a drink with any food item.
Satisfy your Thai food cravings at one of these Thai food places in Singapore. Else, hurry down to the Thai Supermarket to get your hands on some of the Nongshim X Jay Fai Shin Ramyun that’s back in stock!
Address: 68 Orchard Road, #B2-42, Plaza Singapura, Singapore 238839
