Located right next to Fernvale LRT Station, The Seletar Mall is one of the few shopping centres in Sengkang. Here, you can find over 22 food spots selling the likes of affordable Iberico don, dim sum and more. Here is a comprehensive list of all the food at The Seletar Mall.


The cafés and restaurants at The Seletar Mall are mostly on three floors: the basement, the first floor and the second floor. Those looking for food options near Fernvale LRT Station, Layar LRT Station or the Sengkang Riverside Park can find their way here by bus, LRT or by walking. 

1. Gochi-So Shokudo

Dubbed the “Wagyu of pork”, Iberico pork is the star item of Gochi-So Shokudo’s all-day menu. The pork, famed for its velvety texture and nutty flavour, is either charcoal-grilled, deep-fried katsu-style, or served with Japanese curry. Expect wallet-friendly prices when you dine here, with their charcoal-grilled Iberico Jowl Char Siew Don priced at $13.80++ and their Iberico Loin Katsu at $15.80++

2. Din Tai Fung

A familiar sight in many shopping malls around Singapore, Din Tai Fung has also set up base at The Seletar Mall, bringing their selection of Shanghai cuisine to Sengkang residents. They are best known for their Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao ($7.80++ for 6 pcs/$10.30++ for 10pcs), where juicy minced pork is wrapped in their signature dough skin. Their fried rice is also a customer favourite, you can choose from the Fried Rice with Shrimps & Eggs ($13++) or the Fried Rice with Pork Chop ($13++).

3. Haidilao Hot Pot

Tuck into a comforting hotpot at Haidilao Hot Pot, famous for their umami broths and impeccable service standards. A standard meal complete with meat and vegetables will set you back between $45++ and $55++ per person. Along with the mass variety of toppings, there is a wide selection of soup bases as well, including tomato, mushroom, and mala.

4. Han’s Cafe

For Western options, head to Han’s Cafe, where you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner all under one roof. Start your day with a Scrambled Egg with Sausage Set ($6.20++), which comes with buttered toast and a coffee or tea. Alternatively, you can swing by during lunch or dinner hours, when you can order heavier dishes such as their signature Fish and Chips ($9.80++) and Bacon Carbonara ($12.50++)

5. Hawkerman

Hawkerman brings the best of traditional hawker fare under one air-conditioned roof. There’s easily something for everyone, from Tenderfresh’s Fried Spring Chicken ($13.90) to Hokkien Mee ($9.90) fried with Warong Kim’s signature prawn broth. They also serve sharing platters that can feed up to three people, such as the Bao Ka Liao Set ($32.90), which comes with a bit of everything—yuan yang carrot cake, popiah, salted egg popcorn chicken, and half spring chicken.

6. Lao Huo Tang

Lao Huo Tang is the place to be on those cold evenings when you need something to warm you up. Their traditional Chinese soups are just what you need to fend off the cold. Start with their Pork Rib with Apple & Snow Pear Soup ($9.80), or for something more savoury, go for their Herbal Black Chicken Soup with Dried Scallop ($16.80)

You can also order zi char dishes to accompany your soups, such as their Nestum Crispy Cereal Fried Fish Skin ($11.80) and Handmade Crispy Tofu with Minced Meat ($14.80).

7. LeNu Chef Wai’s Noodle Bar | Canton Paradise Noodles & Congee

Make your way to LeNu Chef Wai’s Noodle Bar for a bowl of Braised Beef Shank Noodles ($12.50), which is cooked in a braised beef broth made from bone and marrow for 18 hours. If beef is not your thing, you can also try their Vegetable Pork Wanton Noodles ($9.90), which is cooked in their collagen-rich pork bone soup.

8. My Briyani House

The Nasi Briyani ($8) at My Briyani House comes with pickled cucumber, poppadoms, and a meat of your choice: chicken, fish, or mutton. Top up just $1 and you can add either coffee or tea to your meal.

Other options include the Roti Prata ($4 for two plain prata and a drink) and Maggi Goreng ($5)

9. O’Coffee Club

Treat yourself to an all-day breakfast brunch at O’Coffee Club, starting off with their Full Breakfast ($10.90++), which comes packed with bacon, chicken sausage, grilled tomato, sautéed mushrooms, toast, and scrambled eggs. For a heftier meal that can feed up to three people, try their Waffle Stacker ($19.90++), a whopping stack of three house waffles served with bacon, scrambled eggs, and coffee maple syrup.

Lunch and dinner options are also available at O’Coffee Club, where you can tuck into Xpresso Baby Pork Ribs, coffee-glazed baby pork ribs served with French fries, for $24.90++. Alternatively, you can go local with a bowl of their Prawn Laksa ($15.90++).

10. Pontian Wanton Noodle

Complete with deep-fried wonton, char siew and the works, a standard dry plate of wonton mee at Pontian Wanton Noodle, will knock you back by only $4.20. You can also try their Salted Egg Chicken Cutlet Noodles ($6), which is essentially a few pieces of fried chicken cutlet tossed in salted egg sauce added on to the standard wonton mee.

11. Ramen Hitoyoshi

Get yourself a solid bowl of Special Chashu Garlic Tonkotsu ($15.90++) at Ramen Hitoyoshi. Coming with three large slabs of chashu, this bowl boasts a rich, creamy broth accented with their house garlic oil. If you’re not a fan of garlic, you can simply settle for their regular Special Chashu Tonkotsu ($14.90++).

Ramen is not the only thing served at Ramen Hitoyoshi, as rice bowls also grace their menu. Apart from the pork-based Buta Shogayaki Don ($15.90++) and Chashu Don ($9.90++), you can also order the beef-based Wagyu Sukiyaki Don ($15.90++) or a Chicken Teriyaki Don ($11.90++).

Japanese chain restaurant Saizeriya is known for their array of Italian-inspired dishes at budget prices. Begin your meal here with the customer favourite Oven Grilled Escargots ($5.90++), six escargots are served in a piping hot butter and sauteed onion sauce. 13. Soi Thai Soi Nice

If you’re in the mood for Thai food, head down to Soi Thai Soi Nice, who serves up a mixture of Thai and Teochew cuisines on their menu. Try their signature Royal Thai Hotpot ($38.80++), which comes with a standard mix of soft shell or flower crabs, and a variety of soup bases such as red tom yum, and yam fish to name a few. You can then add other ingredients to your pot, such as prawns, mussels, enoki mushrooms, and instant noodles. 

To buff up your meal, try their zi char dishes, with their Thai Style Steamed Seabass ($32.90++) and Salted Egg Crystal Prawn ($15.90++) coming highly recommended. Alternatively, you can opt for their rice and noodle dishes, with their Basil Minced Pork with Rice going at $7.90++ and their Thai Wanton Noodle going at $5.90++.

14. Song Fa Bak Kut Teh

Famous homegrown brand Song Fa Bak Kut Teh has a branch at The Seletar Mall, which is good news for Sengkang residents who crave their signature peppery pork rib broth. Order their signature Pork Ribs Soup ($7++/$9++) that’s loaded with soft and tender ribs. Top off your meal with the side dishes they have on their menu, such as Braised Pig’s Trotter ($6.50++/$8.50++) and Groundnuts ($1.50/$2.50/$3.50).

15. Ten Points Porridge

For a lighter meal, make your way to Ten Points Porridge, which serves porridge bowls that are gentle on the palate. Their porridge are paired with at least one type of meat, as seen in dishes such as Homemade Pork Meat Ball Porridge with Silver Fish ($4.80) and their Sliced Fish Porridge ($4.50).

If you’re feeling especially hungry, go for the heavier Signature Porridge ($6.50) which comes bursting with a medley of flavours from scallops, sliced fish, cuttlefish, homemade pork balls, sliced lean pork, sliced chicken, century egg, and salted egg.

16. Sushi Express

From nigiri and gunkan to sashimi and maki, Sushi Express offers a staggering variety of sushi to satisfy your cravings. At just $1.50++ per plate, it’s easily the cheapest sushi joint in the area. They also have a small selection of desserts available for you to wrap up your meal, including blueberry cheesecake, chocolate brownie, cream puff, and mango pudding.

17. My Kampung

A standard plate of Roasted or Steamed Chicken Rice at My Kampung costs $3.80, pairing well with the garlic sambal chilli that is served on the side. For just $1.70 more, you can make your meal a set, where you’re served an extra plate of oyster sauce kailan on the side.

18. Texas Chicken

Texas Chicken’s fried chicken game is strong and for just $9.50, you can get yourself a two-piece Chicken Meal which comes with mashed potato, honey butter biscuits, and a drink of your choice.

19. Hainanese Curry Rice

From $4 onwards, you can tuck into an enormous platter of Hainanese Curry Rice, which comes with a meat of your choice: pork chop, fried fish, chicken drumstick, chicken wing, fried prawn, pork belly or sambal sotong.

20. Penang Fried Kway Teow/Prawn Mee

Order a hearty bowl of prawn noodles at the Penang Fried Kway Teow/Prawn Mee stall. The noodles here come in both soup and dry versions.  The stall also whips up a mean plate of Penang style char kway teow.

21. Nam Kee Pau

The Amy Yip Pau ($4) at Nam Kee Pau is big enough to fill a whole dinner plate. This colossal bao is packed full of ingredients, including minced chicken, pork, jicama, onions and half a boiled egg, patchworked together with their signature sauce. 

Regular-sized bao are also available onsite, such as the Char Siew Bao ($0.90), Tau Sar Pau ($0.80), and Lotus Pau ($0.80)

22. Teochew Fishball Noodles

You can find legit Teochew fishball noodles, served in both the soup and dry versions. You can even choose to add a whole fried fish cake to your bowl to round off your meal.
