The fifth and latest outlet from the Japanese dessert franchise arrives with a dine-in cafe and exciting outlet-exclusive items to check out, in addition to the mainstays that have made them so popular.

Check out the chain’s signature Warabimochi, sold in a 2-Piece Cup ($4.90), 5-Piece Box ($8.90), or 10-Piece Box ($15.90). You can also get the outlet-exclusive 3-Piece with Hot Matcha Set ($9.90), which pairs three pieces of mochi with a large bowl of warm, grassy matcha.

These treats are made with 100% bracken starch, featuring a secret Kamakura-exclusive blend that results in a light and silken finish. Each piece is tossed in premium kinako powder that’s roasted at a higher temperature for a richer flavour.

If you’d like to try their warabimochi in drink form, you’ll be happy to find an assortment of mochi-infused beverages here. Be sure to prioritise the outlet-exclusive drinks, namely the Rich Chocolate, Chocolate Banana, and Melon Milk, all of which start from $7.90.

The Rich Chocolate is a particularly decadent drink since it combines chocolate milk with chocolate warabimochi crush—a crunchy topping made of crushed warabimochi. Its sister drink, the Chocolate Banana, is also similarly rich, but with a creamier finish.

The Melon Milk, meanwhile, features sweet, juicy melon warabimochi crush enriched with Hokkaido milk. It’s a drink that’s simultaneously indulgent yet refreshing.

You can also try the Kuromitsu Soft Serve with Kinako Powder ($6.90) here, which can be served in either a cone or cup. This wonderfully milky and fragrant dessert is only available at the Punggol outlet—all the more reason to visit if you’re a fan of Warabimochi Kamakura!

If you’re at Waterway Point, visit Paik’s Noodle, which has recently opened a branch there with their famous jjajangmyeon! Otherwise, if you’re in town instead, check out Warabimochi Kamakura’s Taste Orchard and Takashimaya Shopping Centre outlets.
